We believe that solar energy can be a critical part of the fight against climate change.

And we believe that every person, company, and organization that has a sunny roof should be able to participate.

In part due to various government incentives, solar energy is incredibly economical and offers excellent financial returns to those who are able to purchase systems. But too many community-based nonprofits do not have access to solar because they cannot secure bank loans and/or take advantage of federal and state tax credits.

So, unfortunately solar power is often available only to those with significant financial resources, leaving less wealthy organizations unable to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gasses and unable to take advantage of excellent financial returns that should be available to all.

We hope to change that.

To implement solar with Rise Up, a nonprofit just needs a sunny roof in good condition and a few hours time…

Project Management

Highly rated local project managers and installers design the system, model the environmental and financial impacts, and handle all of the legal and regulatory requirements.

Zero Cash Investment

Rise Up Solar provides financing tailored to the nonprofit’s needs and available government incentives, so that the nonprofit is able to access solar with zero cash outlay. Savings from energy generated are more than enough to pay for the system over time and also provide the nonprofit with large financial returns.

Solar Generation

The solar power generated displaces a large amount of the fossil fuels that were being used by the nonprofit. The nonprofit’s carbon footprint is reduced sharply, and members can see the impact every day with real time monitoring.
